An anthem for survivors

From 2013 to 2016, Kesha was a in legal dispute with her former producer Dr. Luke. Kesha alleged physical, sexual (drugging and raping her) and emotional abuse and employment discrimination against Dr. Luke, while Dr. Luke claimed breach of contract and defamation against Kesha.

A New York judge threw out Kesha's hate-crime and human rights claims against Dr. Luke, saying that the alleged abuses happened "outside New York and beyond the legal time limit".

The judge also said "every rape is not a gender-motivated hate crime," according to the news service.

Since 2013, Kesha only released one single. But now she's back, "Praying".
