Happy Hydesville Day!

Each year Spiritualists recognize this date as representing the birth of modern Spiritualism.

On March 31st 1848, two sisters, Margaretta and Catherine Fox, established intelligent communication with a spirit entity which had been responsible for noisy rappings in their household in Hydesville, NY.

From an investigation of these phenomena there grew an interest in mediumistic communication which became the basis of our mission to prove the existence of life beyond physical death.
