The Letter C
C is for Cuomo and Calls. Hello from New York City, megalopolis on PAUSE. These are the ABCs of isolation.
In this episode, Miracles in Manhattan continues our coverage of the Self, and whatever that place on the other side of the glass is.
The great thing about Governor Cuomo is that he listens to learn, with humility. This always leads us to peace and serenity. You know, my goal is always more serenity. I don’t believe in ‘shoulds’ or theories or dogma or rules. I try things and see if I feel closer to peace.
This stuff has to work in everyday situations. And one thing that does work is to listen to learn; listen with empathy - without judgment - just listen and breathe in the other person’s point of view.
That is why we exist. We are all aspects of source looking at itself. It feels like we are separate, but we are not. We are giving source a point of view. So, when we take a breath and accept another person’s point of view, we are becoming wiser; we are understanding more about the Universe. This makes us feel safer. If we reject the other person’s experience or viewpoint, we are rejecting a part of truth and we backup into fear and anger - and that’s no fun; no serenity there!
The other cool thing Marco and I talk about on this episode, is the new way we are all relating to one another - on calls. We have a physical thing that’s connecting us (the technology) and also separating us. Yes, we’ve had it for a while, but this is the norm, now. And its going to be more common than it ever was.
Just between you and me, I think we are getting ourselves used to communicating less physically as we continue to evolve.
